Bike trip to Fruita, CO

Went to Fruita, CO this last weekend with my ol' ridin buddy Gary. He was here from WI on business and was able to turn it into a long weekend/vacation. Fruita is about a 4 hr trip from Denver and worth every minute of it. Definitely the best trails I have ridin since moving out here. So we had two days of 60 degree and sunny, got in about 5 adventurous hours of riding.

Most of the trail was right around 5000 ft. (elevation)

20+ mph on a ridge like this gets pretty crazy!

Some areas reminded me of Moab, but the single track here is far superior.

So all in all...I had a blast. It's taken me some time to adjust to the elevation....but I'm loving it here!

Fall in Colorado

A few weeks ago we went to Boulder Creek with the Gillmores. We had a lot of fun playing Ultimate Frisbee and it was absolutely beautiful.

We finally painted our brown wall in our dining/living room. Everyone loved it, except for me. We painted it a mossy green color. I like it a lot.

Roscoe and Summit are getting along very well. We just have to keep an eye on Roscoe's snout because when they play Summit bites and since he still has his puppy teeth he makes Roscoe bleed a lot. But they are doing good and Summit is doing really good on his potty training.
