At the end of 2008
Well another year has come and gone. This is just a few things that have went on since our last post.
The Monday prior to Christmas we gave Summit his present, getting fixed :) Here he is wearing some boxers to keep him from licking the stitches. I felt bad for him when he had to wear his cone so I let him wear these part of the time. All in all he did really well.
Right before Christmas Summit also got his first hair cut, courtesy of our new clippers. He was looking really mangy because his new coat is coming in and he was part frizzy and he had a stripe of darker hair that laid down on his back. It was embarrassing.
On Christmas Eve Donny went hiking with the Gillmore's and Scott. I stayed home to keep an eye on Summit.
Donny and Mary Ellen.
After Christmas Donny's brother Tommy, his wife Rachel, their son Eli (2½ years old) and their dog Ally came to visit for New Years.
Eli opening his Christmas present.
Roscoe, Summit, and Ally.
We went hiking with everyone on a day that was absolutely beautiful.
Tommy, Rachel, and Eli.
Boulder Creek.
Then we had a New Year's Eve Party at our place. It was amazingly loud in our house at midnight, and surprisingly we still had two kids that slept through the noise.
Scott and Caedmon.
Jordan, Corbin, and Anderson being goofy.
On New Year's Day we went to the Gillmore's and played a game of football with them and their neighbors, Joe and Renee. It was lots of fun, however I always wonder what I was thinking when I wake up so sore the next morning.
